Aerie is all about celebrating real people, real bodies, and real voices, and Refinery29, has always pushed boundaries to help our audience uncover the most powerful, authentic, and real versions of themselves.
Together, we reclaimed realness by passing the mic to our audience and pushing Aerie’s Real Voices campaign to get even realer.
We brought realness to Aerie key markets through a vibrant pop-up confessional, inviting our audience to use their voice and share real takes on crucial topics, from body image to mental health.
After capturing voice clips IRL, participants got to share their clips on social, and we shared select Real Voices clips on the R29 x Aerie Real Voices digital hub.
Our boldly designed Aerie Real Voices digital hub served as a home for original photography, real talk audio clips, and personal essays.
